Four Dimensions of Wellness
Our mission at Health in Tandem is to provide our clients with integrative care in all aspects of health and wellness. We approach therapy this way because we understand the relationship between mind, body, soul and how when addressing mental wellness, we cannot forget about social, emotional, and physical wellness.
We understand mental wellness to be building skills for resilience, grounding, mindfulness and impulse control. Emotional wellness is addressed through processing current and past experiences for emotion regulation. Physical wellness focuses on movement and nutrition to feel confident from the inside out. While social wellness aims to create more meaningful connections with the individuals in your life.
While in therapy, you increase your understanding of your own experience to enhance your wellness in all areas. Well, I wanted to come up with some ideas for how to enhance these dimensions of wellness outside the therapy room. I want to empower you with tools to take this outside those walls and apply it in your day to day routines! Take what you want and leave the rest!
