Licensed Therapist

Health in Tandem is an integrative private practice consisting of ten knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated women located in the Lakeview/Roscoe Village neighborhood. We are seeking a licensed clinician to join our team!

With our clinicians specializing in the mind-body connection, we aim to help clients find awareness and balance in all aspects of their health and wellness. As a practice, we value creative, evidenced based programming (primarily ACT, CBT, DBT, IFS, and mindfulness) and multidisciplinary care.

Applicants may be at the limited licensure level (e.g. LPC, LSW), or at the independent level (e.g., LCPC, LCSW, LMFT). Applicants with health specializations and a holistic, mind-body approach (e.g., Addictions, Biofeedback, Eating Disorders, EMDR, Sport and Health Psychology, etc) are strongly encouraged to apply.

We offer flexibility in caseload - All clinicians have the opportunity to determine how many clients they would like to see per week. Clinicians interested in seeing less than 20 clients per week will be employed as part-time (W2) employees and clinicians interested in seeing more than 20 clients per week will be employed as full-time (W2) employees.

Typically, we receive enough inquiries and referrals to bring our clinicians up to 20-25 clients per week within 3-4 months. Compensation is based on sessions completed and paid out every two weeks.
Our clinicians are given the choice to see clients in person, virtually or both. With this hybrid model, every clinician has access to their shared therapy room 2-3 days per week. Our office space also has two teletherapy rooms for clinicians to have virtual sessions while still at the office, if preferred or necessary. We do prefer that all clinicians are able to commute to our office space for supervision and group meetings, held every other week.

Health in Tandem takes pride in providing clinicians with opportunities for professional growth. Supervision is offered to every clinician, regardless of licensure status. The team also gathers for group consultation every other week, and we offer group continuing education credits several times per year. A stipend is also provided to cover the continuing education requirements for licensure as well as for larger certifications.
